![]() Say that you love them, forgive them, hug them, just do it right now, there’s no better time than the present! A thing like this really sets your priorities straight, so I guess I just wanted to remind you (and myself) that you need to put your things in order with the ones you love before being too late. It’s really important to have your faith and your family around you in these moments and I’m really blessed to have both. All you can do is be grateful for all the good memories and all the time you got to spend together. But you know, life keeps going on and you just have to move on, learn how to live with all these emotions and just do your best, day after day. I would say that the touch of reality and the realization that you can’t do or change anything, are the hardest. ![]() There are so many swirls of unknown emotions, non compliance, denial and so many regrets that you don’t know how to handle them all at first. You feel sympathy, maybe a little bit of empathy, but it’s surreal when you experience everything first hand. The lose of a parent is something that can really unbalance you, on so many different levels and I feel like I didn’t totally understand this feeling until it happened to me. I’m not usually sharing too many personal things on social media, but I would say the most heartbreaking thing I had to ever experience was the lose of my father, who suffered a heart attack and died last November. I know that’s where I would love to be right now! :) I’ve been taking quite a loooong break from my blog and all the other social media channels, I know, but I’m really happy to be back! I mean really, really, REALLY happy! :)Ī lot has happened since we last got a chance to talk here, on my blog, I feel like I wouldn’t know where to start. The chalk distressed pots can be easily integrated into any farmhouse, vintage or French decor, adding a little bit of chicness to any home. You will be able to create interesting dripping effects in no time and give new terracotta pots an aged, antiqued, old world look makeover. ![]() I’m very excited to add a few of these flowers to my wreaths and trees. This was a messy project but well worth it. You can add glitter to the centers of your flowers. I took white paint and lightly painted all my flowers. I decided to leave a few of my flowers with the color showing through. The flowers that were bright in color took at least 2 dips to cover. I let them dry after the first dip and then dipped for a second time. I bought my flowers from the Dollar Tree. If it is too thick it is harder to get your whole flower to cover evenly. I find that it works better if you add a little extra water. You will be mixing 2 parts of Plaster of Paris to one part water. You will want a tray or piece of cardboard to place your wax paper onto. This project seems to be a messy one so I decided to give it a try outside. I’m very excited to give this a try and I hope they will be a great flower to add to my trees. ![]() These flowers will be amazing to add to a wreath or just place throughout your home for decoration. I have been seeing all kinds of flowers on Pinterest that are made with Plaster of Paris and I knew I had to give it a try. ![]()
